Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Clear View Marketing handles the personal information you share with us.

Clear View Marketing respects your privacy and aims to handle personal information openly, carefully and only for legitimate business purposes.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Your name, business name, role and contact details.
  • Your discovery preference and information submitted through an enquiry form, questionnaire, email or conversation.
  • Business, marketing, customer and performance information supplied for a Marketing Check.
  • Records of our communications and services provided.
  • Basic technical or website-usage information provided by our hosting platform or analytics tools, if enabled.

Please avoid providing sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary and we have agreed that it is required.

2. How we collect information

We generally collect information directly from you when you complete a website form or discovery questionnaire, contact us, participate in a call, purchase a service or provide material for an engagement. Website enquiry submissions are processed by a form-delivery provider so they can be sent securely to our business inbox. We may also receive business contact information through a referral or from publicly available professional sources.

3. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and assess whether The Marketing Check is suitable.
  • Arrange discovery, deliver agreed services and provide follow-up support.
  • Prepare recommendations, reports and recorded walkthroughs.
  • Administer payments, records and our business relationship.
  • Improve our services, website and customer experience.
  • Meet legal, regulatory, insurance or professional obligations.

We will not sell your personal information.

4. When information may be disclosed

We may disclose information to trusted service providers that help us operate the business, such as website hosting, email, secure file storage, video delivery, analytics, accounting or professional advisers. We may also disclose information where you authorise us to do so or where required or permitted by law.

Some technology providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States or other locations used by those providers. We take reasonable steps to select reputable services and limit the information shared to what is needed.

5. Storage, security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose it was collected, to support an engagement, or to meet legal and business record-keeping requirements. When it is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

6. Website analytics and cookies

This website does not currently use advertising or marketing-tracking cookies. Basic technical logs may be generated by the hosting platform for security and website operation. If analytics or additional cookies are introduced, this policy and any required notice will be updated.

7. Direct marketing

We may send service-related communications or relevant marketing where you have requested it or where otherwise permitted. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided or contacting us.

8. Access and correction

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you or request that inaccurate or out-of-date information be corrected. Email hello@clearviewmarketing.com.au and clearly identify your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. Privacy questions and complaints
